I am indeed a fan. I have never had a good massage before. This one knocked it out of the park. Bridgette did exactly as I asked, really loosening up my tight muscles with a tremendous amt of pressure as a deep tissue massage should. 2 days later, I feel incredible and my muscles are limber - as if I've done hrs of yoga. They even followed up to make sure I was happy with the service, which was thoughtful of them. -1 star because the add on exfoliation treatment was something I could have done at home. Verdict: I urge you to come to this spa. Worth every dollar.

Synergy Spa was absolutely wonderful! I had received a massage as a gift from my boyfriend from this spa. The service was absolutely fantastic. The spa itself is very clean and a modern feel to it, and VERY VERY relaxing. Charity did my deep tissue massage and I loved it. I have had deep tissues before and this massage was above par. Not only was my massage great and my overall experience, they called me the next day to thank me for my business and were so nice. I will be going back!! And I refer everyone to visit Synergy Spa as well!!!

This is the first massage I've had since moving here from So. California, and I know I've found a place I'll go back to again and again. The Swedish Massage with hot stones was amazing.

I have been a cosmetologist for seven years. I have worked at many different places and I must admit this is the best. Anna is the owner and she really tries to get new and innovative services that you just can't get anywhere else. The staff is great and is specialized in many different things. You can't go wrong at this spa. I have recently moved to Atlanta and have been looking for that kind of feel. Thats a hard thing to do when you come from something that really is high on the list. I would recommend this to anyone. If your looking for a job this is something you should check out. It is a great opportunity. If you have never been to synergy you need to check it out. They have gotten the Metro Magazine "Best Of" award 3 years in a row that should say it all. Thanks for such a great experience. Can't wait for synergy to come to atlanta(hint hint)jk.

After reading the review of one clients negative waxing experience I felt compelled to share my opposite (positive) experiences at Synergy. I have been getting waxed for years and for the past several months have been going to Heather at Synergy. I find her to be extremely professional and her waxing ability is very good (through and painless). I have had many other services as well and they have far surpassed services I have had at other spas. The staff is friendly and the environment warm and inviting. As far as the price of the waxing as well as other service pricing they are about the same as other spas in the area (and on many services a bit less). I would highly recommend Synergy Spa!

Great aestheics to the place. I have not yet been here, but plan to over christmas break with my mother. My best friend says its the best place in Raleigh, and we go to salons quite often. I have never heard a negative review about this place, or their prices.

I have tried several other day spas in the Raleigh area and came to Synergy for the first time recently on a recommendation from a friend. I had one of their specialty pedicures done by Miranda and was THRILLED with the results. No one has been able to get my feet that smooth and hydrated before. I booked with her again recently for one of Synergy's mani+pedi specials and again got great results. I'm scheduled for a facial with Jessica and Brazilian wax with Miranda in the next couple of weeks. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Once you get inside of the spa you really forget where you are. It's quiet, calm, and relaxing. I am so happy to have found my "spa home" here in Raleigh. I would highly recommend Synergy to anyone looking for a top quality spa experience!

I was lucky enough to get a gift certificate from my husband and went to Synergy Spa to have a massage and a facial.I was very nervous as being elderly, and have never had a massage or a facial before it was quite unsettling for me but I should never have worried.I received a massage from a little South African girl I think her name was Nikki who made me feel from the start special. The massage was gentle and all my specific areas on concern were addressed. At the end she explained why my body was feeling the way that it was and was very informative. My facial was just as wonderful although I cannot remenber her name,I was really handled with lots of care and as I am elderly that was really appeciated.I really recommend this Spa

I was nervous about my first bikini wax, but the Synergy staff not only helped calm my nerves for such a personal procedure, but alleviate the premonition of pain as well. Although everyone is different, I did not find the treatment to be that painful and look forward to returning to Synergy every month to continue. The environment is very clean, comfortable, and relaxing- would recommend to anyone. I have a massage appointment soon and can't wait to return to Synergy again and again!

Synergy is the closest thing I have found to California Spas. The treatments are very progressive.I like that they are always on the cutting edge. The Spa is also a place where you can truely relax and not feel overwhelmed or rushed. The staff is also amazing. Anna has done a wonderful job with both. Thanks!!!

I have been to many spas in the triangle area, and this was definitely my best experience. The waiting area is peaceful with dark wood and several beverage options. My treatmeant was a combination massage-scrub that lasted for 90 minutes. The therapist was excellent with catering the pressure to my needs, and even gave me the leftover lotion to take home for an extra hydration the next day! I'll definitely be back!

I went to the "Girls Nite In" party at Synergy last week and discovered my new favorite thing--pain free smile whitening! I am one of those people who paid $300 for professional tooth whitening at the dentist, with the trays, the goop, the whole nine yards. It worked, but it was so incredibly painful to me for weeks and weeks that I have never been able to psych myself up to do it again. I am too sensitive for laser whitening. I have tried the over the counter strips, the toothpaste, etc, and none of it worked well for me. I had almost given up, and then I encountered the BleachBright system at the Synergy party. This treatment had a long line that night! They said it was good for people with sensitive teeth. I thought, what the heck, I'll try it. I sat down with a few other ladies at the light machine and put the special trays in my mouth for 20 minutes. The technicians kept checking to see if I was becoming too sensitive, but I gave them the thumbs-up signal. So far, so good. After the time was up, we checked my teeth and they had lightened up 3 shades. Pain free. I am ecstatic and will definitely be doing this again! White teeth are the very best beauty secret--they make you look younger, brighter and healthier! Maybe this is botox for the teeth? :) I have been using my "maintenance pen" and am thrilled to report great results and still no sensitivity. A note about the spa: I have had several treatments here in the past and have always been happy with the atmosphere and the professionalism of the employees. I feel like they really have your best interests at heart and would not recommend treatments that would not be suitable just to get the money. You can tell they take a lot of pride in the trust that the clients have built with them. I do not often get to treat myself, but when I have a little extra money, this is a place that I always feel like I got a good quality service, a true treat. I would not hesitate to recommend the services at Synergy.

Even though I have only been there once, the service was out of this world! I was there to get a skin treatment ans before I left, I knew how to properly take care of not only the affected area but the rest of my skin as well. The atmosphere was amazing and it put me at ease from the moment that I walked in. I am going to go back and be pampered again-Mind, Body adn Soul! I highly recommend this place!

Lovely spa--very relaxing with tranquil, positive energy. The owner, Anna, is very sweet and philanthropic. This is a first class spa with professional staff members who are classy, friendly and helpful. I'm taking my Mom in while she's in town this weekend--so you know that's a compliment! We could go anywhere in Raleigh and I want to take her to Synergy. Kudos on a wonderful job, Anna & staff!

Synergy Spa is centrally located and ideally suited for anyone who needs a rejuvenating boost after the workweek. Guys, spas aren't just for women, they have Gentlemen's Special packages which will get you ready for a romantic night on the town, or just wash away the week's worries. I plan to return.

I have visited Synergy Spa several times and have had one outstanding experience after another. I have my nails done regularly with both Madeline and Angela - both area great. The massages I have received have been just wonderful - so relaxing. The overall ambience of the spa is so beautiful, intimate and relaxing. I am from NY and it is nice to finally have a professional, high-end spa in the area - more like what I have been use to. I have brought several friends and they feel the same. The owners have been most knowledgeable and helpful in products and services. Welcome Synergy Spa!!!

I have had a couple of facials at Synergy. I had 3 with 1 girl, and my 4th and final with another. The first 3 I had were fine, the 4th one I had, was with a girl who was new. I left the spa, and was sure, that the next day I would have bruises on my face.My face hurt, it was red , and I was scared to look in the mirror in fear that there would be spots bleeding. The towel she put on my face was steaming hot, burning my face. I have nice skin, have never had any problems with it, never any acne, have very few blackheads, this girl acted as if I had the worst skin she had ever seen. Told me if I wasnt doing my extractions at home that I should be. She solely ruined my experiences at Synergy and I will never go back. I am not impressed with the sales strategy involved within the facials, recommendations on products or procedures at an attempt to upsell. My facial was supposed to be 60 minutes and when I walked out of there the girl had rushd me through in 45. Needless to say I wont be back. Everyones experience is different so if you chose to try it out I hope you have a better one then I did.

I received a gift certificate to Synergy and just redeemed it. I had a fabulous swedish massage with hot stones from Amanda. She did such a good job- I was totally relaxed and comfortable! They used several extras that I really liked- the room smelled great and a warm aromatherapy eye and neck pillow at the end were a great finishing touch. I actually think that my treatment went over by 15 minutes, which is great- definitly not rushed. I was so blissed out at the end that I don't think I said thank you properly. I would recommend trying Synergy!

Based on my friend (a regular at Synergy)'s recommendation, my fiancee got me a git certificate at Synergy. I went for my facial on 1/06/07 with eager expecation, but promptly disappointed: 1. Staff service was mediocre. I reminded the spa twice (at reservation, and at confirmation) that I'd need a consultation first, so that I can choose a best facial options for me. Despite that, the reception on visit decided on a regular facial even without asking me. When asked for a consultation to the assigned aesthetician (Samara), she spent like 30 seconds before recommending a Glycolic peel and proceeded to recommend products that I already use. If she took a little time to read the form I laborously filled out, she would have known. 2. Cost of Glycolic was high For 30-minute Glycolic peel, I was charged $115 which seems very expensive to me. I reviewed the priced-menu online after coming back home, and I do not see anywhere the peel was listed as $115... On the positive note, I liked the effect of the Glycolic acid peel. I would visit again if the staff service improves. If Anna would like to discuss this, she can contact me at 919-572-6897. Thanks.

Synergy Spa has provided me with skin treatment options that have improved my skin tone, texture and overall satisfaction with how my skin looks and feels -- with and without makeup! I have been very pleased with my skin expert Samara, and her ability to create skin management plans that fit into my lifestyle. It is wonderful to be able to receive such clinical recommendations without stepping into a dermatologist's office! The staff at Synergy stays on top of new and suggested treatment options with classes and conferences -- this is important to me -- I like knowing that I am always being offered the most effective options out there. I will continue to go to Synergy for years to come! Go for the facial but make sure you stay for the massage!!!

I came in for a massage a few weeks ago and I have to say this was by far, the best massage I have ever had. My experience with massage therapists is rather extensive, having gone to numerous spas on the west coast in the past...Garrie (the therapist at Synergy) left me totally refreshed and was so exacting with his technique and skill. I have come here in the past for other services which have consistently been outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend this spa for any service but am extra estatic to have found a place where the environment is unpretentious, simple yet elegant and with a staff as professional as this. The front desk personnel was also very helpful in making the proper recommendation to me. Kudos to whoever created this wonderful retreat.

There is NO need to drive out of the triangle area anymore for a great massage. The interior design in Synergy Spa is very elegant and calming. The soothing music played throughout the spa is so relaxing. The massages are amazing. I've had two deep tissue massages- and the massage therapists were very professional and receptive to sections of my body that needed more attention. I have absolutely enjoyed every second spent at Synergy Spa. The atmosphere is based on asian simplicity and a zen balance and calmness which automatically relaxes you. The oxygen facial is a must have for everyone. The decor of the treatment rooms and all sections of the spa is extremely well done and carries the feng sui priciples throughout the facility. The selection of candles, products, and gifts are great for last minute or keep on hand items for your friends or yourself. A great experience and will definately be on schedule with these ladies.

I have been a regular client of Synergy Spa for a while when I'm not traveling and looking to relax. I came in the other day to get a gift certificate for a massage for a friend and there was a new young receptionist at the desk. She was too busy on the computer to even acknowledge that I was there. I waited a little while and then finally asked her if she was busy before she looked up. It was the coldest, rudest reception I ever have received at any spa. She treated as if I were inconveniencing her. I asked for a gift certificate from my favorite massage therapist who she informed me was no longer there. At that point upon receiving such a cold reception I decided to take my business elsewhere. In short, my assessment of Synergy Spa the customer service is truly lacking and it isn't what I used to be.

I love this place. Everyone is so nice and professional. My skin has never looked better..I get facials (peels, microderm) once a month and use their product line for my home care. I also try to get a massage and nail services as often as I can. I really like the Ashiatsu Massage which I had never had until I went to Synergy. The therapist holds on to poles in the ceiling and uses her feet to massage you. Its the best deep tissue massage I have ever received. I usually get the monthly manicure pedicure special but my husband gave me a gift certificate for a hot stone pedicure and that was truly amazing! It is very clean, the decor is beautiful and relaxing. I am so happy to have such a wonderful monthly escape...moving from the west coast it took me awhile to find Synergy but now that I have there is no where else I would ever go! Thanks Synergy

I get 2-3 massages a year when my back gets tight and this was hands down the best massage I've ever had. I like very deep tissue massages and have found that it's hard to find a masseuse that can go deep enough. Allison listened to my request for a true deep tissue massage and gave me what I asked for. Having lived on the west coast for 10+ years, I became spoiled for day spa services. After searching around the Triangle for 5+ years, where something always seemed to be "missing", I've found my place! I booked a facial and was undecided about which add on service I wanted -- peel, microdermabrasion, etc., so just picked one at random. After a flawless check-in, a relaxing cup of blueberry tea in the lounge (which the staff allowed to cool just a bit so it wasn't scorching), and taking in the soothing atmosphere -- dimmed lights, light music, warm colors -- my facial lady appeared (sorry I can't remember her name right now). We went into the treatment room where we talked a bit about what results I was after, she took a few minutes to look at my skin under the lights, and she recommended a different add-on than the one I chose, which was actually *less* expensive. The treament was fantastic, lots of little "extra touches" like full arm & hand massage that left my skin soft and glowing, and the skin on my face looked dramatically better from when I walked in. Had another cup of tea in the lounge while she (at my request) pulled some of the products she used and placed them up front. She spent several minutes with me going over the products, and I picked two to bring home (which I love). I've already booked my next appointment and plan on being a regular customer. Can't wait to try their other services.

I first visited Synergy based on it's CitySearch rating and was not disappointed. In fact, I returned two weeks after my first pedicure for a second one and I brought two out-of-town friends. I have never had a massage before and am currently almost 8 months pregnant. Just this morning I went and had a prenatal massage done by Allison. I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted immediately, given some paperwork to fill out since I am a new customer, and was taken back to the waiting area. It was very calming in the waiting area. I liked the low lighting, soft music and candles. Allison took me into the room and we chatted about what to expect and if I had any questions. I was given plenty of time to get undressed/dressed. The table was so comfortable for me with a giant body pillow. Allison used just the right amount of pressure in all of my aching areas! She made sure that I was comfortable. I would definitely say that my 1st massage experience was a great one. I hope to go back again in the future.

Although this spa is located in a strip mall the atmosphere inside completely makes you forget that. It's very calming and relaxing. I've only had the massages and manicure/pedicures but they are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and never make you feel rushed. Everyone takes the time to talk with you and tailors the service to your needs. Even if you're rather vague as to what you're wanting, they'll go out of their way to suggest what you might like and why. Although I can't afford to go as often as I would like to, I feel it is much better to go here infrequently than any where else more often. I love the fact that extra time is built into the services, especially massage, so that you don't feel rushed out the door when you're done.

Last week I treated my girlfriend to an afternoon at Synergy Spa where she received a facial, pedicure and massage. She came back raving about the beautiful setting and how the wonderful staff treated her like a queen. We recently returned from the grove park inn and while the spa facility was nice, the service and attention to detail was so much nicer at Synergy, according to my girlfriend. I have to mention that the front desk person (Tommy I beleive his name was) was so very helpful to me to make sure that I picked out the right treatments and special add-ons for this special occassion. I have now spoiled her as she has informed me that she needs to come here on a regular basis to try out all the other services.

As a forty-something man who had never experienced a manicure, let alone a pedicure, I was a bit apprehensive when I received a gift from Synergy Spa including a gentleman's manicure, facial, and pedicure. My apprehension melted away with the warmth and comforting understanding of the staff at Synergy Spa. Each staff member explained each procedure as well as their high standards for cleanliness and safety. Since my trip to Synergy Spa, I thought I'd try a manicure at a "bargain" nail salon in the mall, and let's just say that the comfort, safety, and assurance I experienced at Synergy Spa is certainly worth the modest additional expense. I can't wait to go back!

I went and got an Allergy, Sinus Tension Relief massage. Tip: make sure you know what you are making the appointment for. Both the receptionist and the therapist thought the massage was 30 minutes when it says on the website 45 minutes. I would not have booked it at 30 minutes. It was a very good massage. I have already made my next appointment.

I've tried MANY different spas in Raleigh/Durham over the past few years, and all left something to be desired. I found this online (I was actually looking for something near Hereghty Bakery), and tried it because of the rave reviews. They weren't wrong! I went with my two best friends - our first excursion together in over 2 years, since all 3 of us had babies. As I found it and made the reservations, I was a bit nervous....because if they had a bad experience, it would have been a reflection on me. First of all the atmosphere is fabulous. Very well decorated and serene, with an 'inner' waiting room and lockers. Two of us got the spa pedicure - I was first of all pleasantly surprised by the room....no tacky vinyl vibrating chairs! There are custom, very plush couches, with beautifully tiled basins. I was afraid since we were sharing one technician, she would rush thru one of us to get to the other. We had Samara - and she was absolutely excellent. She gave us each our full our, and honestly the best pedicure we've ever had. I also loved that she talked with us when we initiated conversation (and was very fun to talk to), but didn't when we had our eyes closed and wanted to relax. Our friend had a massage with Georgia (whom she raved about), and was able to come into the room and sit and chat with us for the remainder of our time there. We all 3 had gift certificates (which can be touchy at some places) - but checkout was a breeze and the receptionist was great. We all made appointments to return before we left (I'm going this Monday for my first massage in 5 years - I know I won't be disappointed). If you go, definitely go next door for coffee and chocolate dessert - it made the whole afternoon perfect.

I went to Synergy Day Spa to get a massage. After talking to the concierge I thought it was going to be a great massage. I was wrong. I told the girl that I have traveled all around the world and I have only found 3 massage therapist that I would go back to, she told me she had just the right person to put me with. She said there would be no way that I would walk away unsatisifed... well, she was wrong. The staff is average, at best. The place is pretty nice, but nothing to rave about. Try it out, maybe you'll have a better experience than me.

Being new to the area, and a regular spa goer in both Arizona and California, it took some time to find a place I really felt "at home". I tried a few of the local spas before researching and looking for recommendations. The reviews I read here prompted me to come for a visit...and I was skeptical, but the reviews really speak the truth about Synergy. Client appreciation, being greeted so warmly, fantastic services that truely are special, emaculately clean, ...I could go on an on. I loved it and will be back often.

I was recommended to Synergy Spa by a friend.Well what a find it was.I was greeted by a very efficeient and friendly front desk and shown to the relaxation area.I was greeted on time by the therapist who was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly and who I also found out later was the Spa Manager. We discussed my concerns and my treatment was started.I had come because of pain in my lower back that had been troubling me.Nicolette only worked on my back as she said that focusing there would bring me relief as well as some stretching, when the treatment was complete she placed a heat pad on my lower back and allowed me to lie there for a few minutes,it was wonderful no rush no stress I really enjoyed my treatment.Synergy Spa provides a haven and santuary which is so needed in Raleigh, the Spa is beautiful and preofessional and provides five star excellent service to all it's guests.Having been to other Spa's I feel that Synergy has set a need trend in the Business by the Standard of the service that they provide.Well done to all concerned, now I have just to find another reason to return as my back pain is gone.

I was there a couple months ago and I'm actually going back tomorrow. There is a lot to say about how amazing my first experience was as that I live about 1hr and 30 min away. My husband and I went in for massages. We were greeted and escorted to the lounge area to await our massages. It was a tranquil and relaxing environment and beverages were provided. After a short time we went into our massage suites. The therapists put us at ease and the massages were amazing (i got the hot stone, my husband got the aromatherapy). We will definitely be going back for more. Just wish they offered a couple's massage, otherwise, no complaints. Great value for service provided.

Although I never actually ended up purchasing a spa and massage package here I wanted to give a positive review to this spa because of the great service I received here. I was looking for a gift and wanted to get a spa and massage package to pamper her after all the hard work she has been doing. I went to about 6-7 place in the Triangle trying to find the right spa. I had unique requirements for the spa and wanted a place that would meet the religious requirements I needed from the spa. Out of all places I went Synergy Spa was the most accommodating place. They were willing to rearrange there room layout and staffing in order to accomodate my needs. It was so refreshing to see. The rooms the massages were given in where pristine, very clean and the ambience was very relaxing. They offer a variety of massage techniques and will tailor a package to meet any need you have. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured into making a purchase. The only reason I did not go with this place was because they were booked up for the day I wanted. I guess that what you should expect from high class spas.

I went to this salon for a manicure having been given a gift certificate. The manicure was the worst I have ever had. The manicurist didn't even seem to know how to hold the nail file, and my nails all ended up different shapes and lengths with jagged edges. The manicurist then put so much polish on that the polish never dried and it all smeared the moment I left. I also questioned how sanitary the service was as the manicurist?s nails were extremely dirty. I'm not usually one to complain about poor service, but the manicure was so bad that I decided to e-mail the salon. I received a prompt response stating that the manicurist I had seen was new, apologizing for my dissatisfaction with the service, and offering me a refund for the manicure I was unhappy with, as well as a free manicure in the future. I responded to say that I would appreciate a refund, and provided my mailing address (which they should have already had as I provided it when I went in for the manicure). When I had not received a refund several weeks afterward, I e-mailed once again and asked about the status of the refund. I was told that a gift certificate had been sent out. I responded to say that I did not receive the gift certificate, and that I would prefer a refund, as I had been promised. I also confirmed my mailing address. I received a response stating that a refund would be sent. Several more weeks passed and I still had not received anything from the salon. I e-mailed again and was told that the check had been sent. They could not explain why I hadn't received either check or the gift certificate, and they stated that they didn't know what else to do. Needless to say, I will never be going there again.

This is my favorite place in Raleigh I have found to get a massage. The staff is friendly, and it is a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. They gave me lots of tips to help my back and neck pain in between massages. Normally when I get massages, the lotions and oils bother me because of all of the perfumes, but they use just the right amount, not too much. I always leave perfectly relaxed and refreshed! The citrus water they give you to drink is great as well

This has become my favorite Spa in Raleigh. I went with high expectations and standards (because I always expect the best), and they went above and beyond. I've been there when the owner was there and wasn't there...and the staff is always courteous and accommodating without hesitation. Some spas are much different when the owner leaves...but not this one. Always friendly and down-to-earth. My massage was excellent. I've been back many times since then, and will continue to return. The atmosphere is great...and very relaxing. Great prices (I've been to other spas with outrageous prices and the service was half what this spa provided). If you live here or are visiting here, I'd encourage you to visit Synergy because this place is what makes Raleigh such an up-and-coming city. (And I'm not friends with anyone at Synergy or know any of them personally, so I really mean what I say. I just really support good business ethic.) -Tucker

I happened upon Synergy just this afternoon and after moving here from NYC three weeks ago, was in desperate need of a brow wax. I'd put it off because I'm quite picky about my brows and who I let near them as I'm used to going to upscale spas and paying $35, but I took a chance on Danielle at Synergy and was pleasantly surprised! They look great, she took direction well, and gave me exactly what I wanted. It was like new york service but at $13 it was seriously a STEAL! Can't wait to try out their other services, which if they're all the same quality as the brow wax, are great bargains! Happy indulging!

I'm not dissing the spa, I am just upset about the after effects of my facial. I have never gotten a facial and broken out so badly afterwards. I dont know if its their own line of products, I am always wary when a spa has there own skin care line, My skin has been flawless, no acne for years and whatever they used gave me white commodones all over my face, it s a disaster. I would like to try a massage at this place, maybe? I dunno, just sort of frustrated, I have a date tomorrow. And i look like pizza face. Owner and facialist were very sweet. All the services I have had at synergy were good, and the people performing the services were great...i liked the atmosphere, etc. BUT, because of certain problems that could have and should have easily been taken care were not, I do not recommend going there, and definately don't buy anyone a gift certificate at synergy (i'm sure there are much better spas where the owner actually calls you back when you have a problem). i called multiple times after my boyfriend got sick after having a massage given by a sick therapist...who should not be at work if she is sick and possibly contagious...anyways, the owner NEVER responded to my multiple phone calls. to top it off, she actually had her receptionist lie to me and tell me she was in a meeting in order to avoid confronting the situation. i would advise the employees are synergy to find a new spa to work at. they're great, and it is too bad they have to work for someone who doesn't know how to run a business, or just doesn't care about her clients...now former clients

I try not to indulge myself too often but this place is great. Since it is in a small strip mall I wasn't expecting much but the atmosphere inside is very posh and relaxing. It is smaller than some other places I have been to which in my opinion enhances the overall atmosphere which is cosy and inviting (and very clean) . I have only tried the massages (90 min Hot stone is amazing!) and manicure/pedicures but all of my experiences have been excellent and better than I have experienced elsewhere in the triangle. Highly recommended!

So I have never been to a spa and really didnt think that I would have an interest in spending money at one. My friend for her birthday went to Synergy and said it was awesome. Then they had a summer skin care event, which I was basically dragged there by my friends. When I got there we sat down felt a litle weird at first but then I got use to it. They had complimentary food and free services. It was GREAT. The staff was very friendly. They went over the basics of some skin care and then gave us a free consultation and a hand facial and a good bag as we were leaving. The place was very relaxing and everything was kept neat and clean. I am already planning to go have a day at the spa, and I will do it at Synergy.

I have had two massages at this spa - both great experiences. The tables are so warm and nicely padded for comfort, and the staff are all so friendly. The atmosphere is soothing and relaxing. The first time I went, I had the 60 minute Hot Stone massage. At the time, the description on the website wasn't as detailed, so through most of my massage, I wondered when the hot stones would finally come into the picture. They were finally brought out towards the end, which was a little disappointing given the name of the massage. I see that now they describe it as only using hot stones on the back, so at least you know what to expect. The next time, I had the full 90 minute massage and they use the hot stones the entire time during this one. It was fantastic! I definitely recommend spending the extra money for the 90 minutes versus the 60 minutes. It made for a great birthday gift!!

One Saturday morning I woke up and decided that I was really tense and wanted to treat myself to a massage. Synergy fit me in for a same day appointment and that is when the healing began. The massage therapist gave me a full body massage but concentrated heavily on working out the knot that was is my neck. It was a miracle. Syergy Spa provides excellent customer service. I recently encountered an abrasion which showed up following a service, which I communicated to the spa owner. She immediately responded, and although it was not obvious as to how it happened, she asked her lead technician to provide healing therapy and offer the service again. I accepted, and they have been extremely satisfied with how well they handled the situation. They did not cut any corners, and fully provided what I'd originally came in for. The treatment was fantastic! The aesthetician discussed options with me prior to starting and we selected the best choice for my needs. We discussed the best choice for services going forward, and professional products to help in between visits. Their knowledge is as important to me as is the quality of the service. I will return for treatments in the same category as well as other services they offer.

I work across the street from Synergy and never knew it was there until I received a gift certificate from work. I decided to use my gift certificate for a pedicure and it was wonderful! The atmosphere is so relaxing and my pedicure was fantastic and lasted for weeks. That was almost a year ago, and I've been thinking about that place ever since! I finally decided to pamper myself and schedule a facial. Well, it's only been 2 weeks and I cannot wait to go back again. It was the most relaxing and fabulous thing I have ever done for my skin. I had an appointment with Danielle and she really took the time to talk with my about my skin and my concerns - which include dryness and rosacea. She picked my treatments based on this and did not do anything that would irritate my rosacea. She recommended one product instead of trying to change my whole routine, so that we would know if it was helping my skin. It's been almost two weeks now and my skin is not dry at all. I can't wait to go back for another facial. I highly recommend Synergy!

I've been going to this spa for several years and love it. Waxing services are reasonably priced and the spa itself is very relaxing. The staff always manages to fit me in, even at the last minute!

I have really enjoyed my visits to Synergy Spa! The massages are amazing as well as the microdermabrasion! The staff is so friendly, they really helped me with picking my skin care products! They have awesome monthly specials as well as drawings that I have entered and won tickets to a play in Raleigh!

Synergy Spa is my favorite in the Raleigh area because it is small and intimate. I especially love the pedicure area because it is private and the silk cushions are much more comfortable than massage chairs. The staff is always warm, friendly and quick to assist you.

My name is Emily P. and I recently spent an entire day at Synergy. Having the luxury of time and great friends with me, I took advantage of many of the services they offered. I cannot say enough good things about the services, people and environment. It was all fantastic. I have visited many spa's around the country and the moment I arrived at Synergy, I could tell it was going to be something special. The day began with fresh berries and tea followed by an hour and a half massage, oxygen facial and a hot stone pedicure/manicure. All three technicians did a wonderful job to make me feel comfortable and made sure that I was getting exactly what I needed/wanted from each service. If you are looking for the perfect spa experience in Raleigh, Synergy is the place to go.

I had a great experience when I went for my massage. Even though I was late, they were understanding and still I was able to get my full massage. Customer service was great.

I have been to Synergy Spa on several occasions and each experience has been a delight. Upon my first appointment I was matched up with the best aesthetician I have ever come across. I believe her name is Samara and I would recommend her to anyone, she is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable. She seemed to be very knowledgable about the products that she was using, as I asked many questions. It's very rare that you find a person that goes above and beyond customer service such as she did. Next time you receive a service from Synergy, request her, you'll be glad you did.

I have been to Synergy several times & have had many different services. Every person that I have met there has been friendly & professional. It is a relaxing environment and I have been pleased with every service (waxing, massage, scrub, manicure, pedicure). As someone who has extremely sensitive skin, I appreciate that they offer hard wax for waxing. It has made such a difference on the redness & swelling that I usually get with regular wax. I also love getting the monthly specials emailed to me. There was even a discount after my first visit for making a 2nd appointment within a certain period of time. As long as I am in the Raleigh area, I will continue to come to Synergy.

I was very impressed with my massage therapist. I have had a lot of massages and this was by far the best I ever had. The people at the front desk are very knowledgeable and helpful as well. I am going back again next week for a gentleman's facial because I bought some mens skin care products there and really liked them a lot.

I have been researching facials for a few weeks now, as I've never had one before. Synergy Spa seems to offer the best deals and has the best feedback for any other spas in the Triangle. I'm looking forward to my first experience--will definitely post feedback once I make my visit to Synergy!

I received a gift certificate for my birthday to go to synergy. I was pleasantly surprised. The spa is decorated tastefully with a very clean and minimalist style. The staff was helpful and friendly. I had a deep tissue massage for 90 minutes. It was amazing. The masseuse gave me some tips on keeping my shoulder muscles more relaxed. She did a wonderful job and I would definitely go back for a similar massage from this person. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Garrie gave me the best massage I may have ever had. And I used to be a massage therapist. He was truly amazing! I also had a wonderful one from Nicholas - so they are both highly recommended. You would never know a spa could be "tucked away" in a shopping center. But it is so quiet with the lights perfectly dimmed and so relaxing. Make sure you book your next appt when you check out. If you do, you get 10% off! It's a great deal! Oh - and treat yourself to a 75 or 90 minute massage. The effects are so much greater then with a 60.

The owners of Synergy Spa are devastated by the closing of Iatria Spa?s. We can not imagine what it would feel like to have to walk away from our business, our amazing team and the clients who support us. We worry that the closing of this spa sends out the message that our industry is suffering due to the economy. Of course we are all feeling the effects of the economy, however there are several spas as well as many businesses that are holding their own. Our real concern is for the employees who are now faced with having to find a job in a market that has very few options. Additionally, we are also concerned that consumers will hesitate to buy gift certificates or frequent spas. If you are a former employee with a solid work history, please email us your resume (email address can be found on our website). If we don?t have a position available for you, we have numerous contacts within the industry and will try to help you locate a new position. If you are a client left holding an Iatria Gift Certificate, we will work with you to redeem these with us; we only ask you give us some time so that we can figure out a way to best accommodate everyone. For more information on redeeming your gift certificates with Synergy Spa please check our website in the coming weeks for details.

I had my first manicure at Synergy Spa the other day and the experience was wonderful. The people were friendly and attentive from the moment I walked in and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Although I only had the manicure (which turned out great), if the other services live up to the same high expections, this place is a hidden gem (its tucked away in a little strip shopping center off Glenwood). The even called me the next day to thank me for my patronage. I will definitely be a return customer.

Synergy is my favorite local spa for massage and other body work therapies. Anna and her staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The spa is very clean and quiet. They have great deals on a regular basis and their 20% birthday postcard is one I look forward to every year! Also if you ever need your makeup done for an event or just for fun, Anna, the owner, is the one to ask for.

I've had more than a few good experiences at Synergy Spa, and have made it one of my favorites in my GPS. (Since I'm new to town, I still save GPS favorites so I don't get lost!) Great massage therapists. Great facialists. A quality establishment. m

I recently visited Synergy Spa for the first time and had a 50-minute Aromatherapy Relaxation Massage. From the moment I walked in the door I felt relaxed. The beautiful facilities create a calming environment. I was promptly escorted to the lounge to relax while waiting (for just a few minutes) for my massage to begin. The massage I received was amazing! I felt so relaxed by the time it ended, that I could barely walk out the door. I was very impressed with this spa and will return many times in the future.

One of the nicest gifts I received before the birth of my fourth child (yes, I have 4 children) was a Prenatal Massage spa package at Synergy. It was just the sort of pampering a Mom-to-Be needs before that big day that changes everything. The massage was wonderful, the pedicure devine (especially when you can no longer reach over your own belly to touch your toes). The experience was just the sort of gift any expectant mother would love. PS Daddy-to-Be this is the perfect gift for the woman who is carrying your child. Something she will remember with fondness for years to come=big points in the husband department!
