The Gordon Lodge is a large delux Mountain Home located by Brighton and Solitude Ski Resorts. This unique home is perfect for groups that want a private pristine setting with all the amenities of a modern home. The Gordon Lodge enjoys an expansive 6 acre estate, private driveway and a year round stream that runs down from Hidden Canyon right past the decks of the home. Hidden Canyon boarders Brighton Ski terrain, so venturing into this canyon is an exciting, out of bounds tour that is easy to navigate by simply following the stream straight to the Gordon property. This location proves to be a favorite for many types of winter fun including: snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, cross country skiing ect. ect. The Solitude Nordic Center is within a short walk of the Gordon Lodge offering an affordable cross country and snowshoe rental gear allowing access to over 19km of great classic, skateskiing terrain. This trail system runs between Brighton and Solitude Ski Resorts making it possible to ski and travel between the two resorts. Solitude Resort has a new highspeed quad for the 2010-2011 season and the lift bases are approximately 2 miles down the canyon from the Gordon property. The home itself is very comfortable with 3 bedrooms with king beds, one with a full and a twin, as well as a queen futon overlooking the living room and a loft with 4 twins and a full futon. There are 3 bathrooms all with jetted tubs, 1 is located on the main floor by the pool table and main floor bedroom. A covered hot tub on the deck, satelite TV and a great wood burning stove are all ready to go. This large home was built in 1992 by the owner operators Randy and Bonnie.
