We are here to deeply involve ourselves with the pursuit and study of "kobudo" - Japan's "old martial ways" so that we can hone our spirits and strenghten our bodies. None of this is done for the sake of being more self-centered. On the contrary, our "jissen" - "realistic combat" outlook on this training reminds of the commonality we have with one another as people.
