Rates and pricing vary by type of assignment, degree of difficulty, and expertise required. Volume clients and Private Investigation Agencies are provided a discount. New clients and domestic assignments require a retainer and/or pre-payment of services depending upon the service(s) requested. Investigations are $85.00 per man hour (PMH) Surveillance ranges from $85.00 (Suffolk County) to $100.00 PMH with video included Mileage is $0.75 per mile Court Testimony $200.00 per hour Back round checks $120.00 Locate Litigants $100.00 Armed security 100.00(PMH) Minimum investigative billing time per investigator is four (4) hours excluding travel time. Travel time and mileage are calculated to/from our local office in addition to all mileage incurred during the assignment. All reports, invoices, and pictures are electronically sent unless otherwise requested. Day rates are available for extended daily assignments. Rates in major metropolitan areas are higher.
