If you have a pool you should teach them where the steps are right away.They dont do well in the heat so they need to be a inside dog. Unless you live in cool country.Once you own one you can never be without one. Spend an afternoon in town with your Bulldog, before the end of the day you will have made many new friends.Seems like the longer you have a Bulldog you just start looking like your dog. If you own a BB Simom Belt, I bet your dog has a matching one.Boston Terriers make great family dogs also. They are really sturdy and love to play ball.Ours floats the river every weekend. Cant wait to get on her tube and ride.She also will ride with who ever has the most food.
