CJ TRANSFERS provides local moving and packing services in northern virginia at an hourly rate, plus a trip/travel time charge. Please call or email us for our current hourly rates. Our rates may vary based on the date and time that you need to move. You can generally save money by moving mid-week, mid-month when demand for our services is lower. The time starts when the movers arrive at your loading location and continues until the work is completed at your final destination, and includes the time spent traveling between your various locations. The trip charge is added to account for the time spent getting out to you and back home again. We generally say that it takes one to one-and-an-half hours of moving time per fully furnished room. Remember that it may take a little longer if you live in a location with an elevator, multiple flights of stairs, or if there is a long walk from where the truck can park to your front door. We require a security deposit to secure the date and time of your move. Please call us if you have any questions or need additional information. Free Written Estimates - We come to your location 7 days a week, during the day or evening, whenever is easiest for you. Our written estimate will outline all the costs associated with your move. Packing and Boxes - We offer full packing services as well as a range of packing materials including boxes, paper, tape, and bubble wrap. Many customers decide to pack themselves, and we happily coach you on how to do that for no extra charge. If youd like our helping packing, we can provide a very resonable quote for you. Insurance - We are State licensed movers. Our trucks. your cargo, and our workers are fully insured. Our Guarantee - We promise to take excellent care of your belongings.
