Business Description
For over six years we have marketed such products as oxidation catalysts, particulate filters and alternative fuels such as biodiesel, propane and natural gas. C-CAT has focused on the off-road market in California targeting construction, mining, agriculture, stationary/portable engines and cargo handling equipment at the Ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach and Oakland. We believe that combining a pre-combustion system with an aftertreatment system has enormous potential in the off-road retrofit market. Our experience with current generation products tells us that customers are extremely dissatisfied with the aftertreatment systems currently on the market due to their propensity to degrade performance of heavy duty diesel equipment thereby increasing the cost of operation. Combination systems have the potential to decrease exhaust emissions while actually improving fuel economy.
