We only use interpreters who are certified by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. We also have our interpreters go through an in house screening exam so we can personally assess their skills. Our interpreters are well versed in all modes of Sign Language (ASL, PSE, SEE, tactile interpreting, etc) so we can cater to the clients language preference.
Quality Interpreting Service Prices & Conditions Thank you for considering Quality Interpreting Service for your interpreting needs. These rates reflect industry standards. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call the agency for more information. PricesSubject To Change Prices subject to change without notice, please contact us directly for current pricing. This price list last updated July 2, 2011. Miscellaneous Differential rates for platform, performance, deaf-blind (tactile), or otherwise more demanding assignments will be negotiated at the time a request is made. Please note that performance assignments are negotiated per assignment and not per hour. Payment Terms Net payments are due 14 days from the service date. Invoices paid late will be assessed an additional 3.0% for each 14 day period. We accept corporate checks, certified checks, money orders, and cashiers checks. In the near future we will be accepting Credit card payments. Reimbursable Charges We do charge for mileage , parking, tolls, trains, or metro for our interpreters to travel to your location. Travel Time Charges Assignments requiring more than 1.5 hours of commuting time in one direction will be billed at the hourly rate for the driving time round-trip. This may or may not apply to all assignments at your location. Coverage Assignments will require a second interpreter if they are two or more hours in length, require platform interpreting, or are otherwise technically/physically demanding. Quality Interpreting Scheduler can arrange for this at the rates quoted above or provide you with other referrals. Cancellations and No-Shows All cancellations must be made by close of business 3 days prior to the assignment or the job will be billed in full. No-Shows are billed without exception. Inclement Weather Policy Quality Interpreting Service will take all efforts to ensure that our interpreters are prepared to handle most types of inclement weather. Our agency reserves the right to cancel without cost only when a weather emergency has been declared by the local authorities. Any cancellations due to inclement weather will be billed unless otherwise negotiated. Subject to availability Quality interpreting services are subject to scheduling availability and reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
