The school and family will receive intervetnion ideas, using the student's daily schedule appropriate strategies are specificed for each activity, along with materials needed to implement the recommended interventions.
Mika Adams has received training in a variety of intervention/instructional techniques that have been found to be successful with students on the autism spectrum. Using the Ziggurat Model the services include observations of student, consideration of the student's strengths and skills, focus on the long and short term goals from the IEP and creation of intervention plan, with scientifically based materials provided to support the student at home and at school. In addition to the Ziggurat, the family and school will received a C.A.P.S. (Comprehensive Autism Progam System). Special consideration will be given to the student's preferences and activities that they enjoy.

Business Description
Mika Adams will provide personalize service working with parents and schools to create a positive, individualized inteventions for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Based on her years of experience working with the public school and the families of students with special needs, every effort is made to insure that the strategies and interventions are not only scientifically based, but also doable within the confines of a classroom. Follow up provided as needed to both family and school.
