The House of Hidalgo, better known simply as Arcielago (pronunciation: ar - ciel- lago), is an American fashion and costume design label, part of the Hidalgo Group, which is owned by HIDALGO & Co, housing the Arcielago Label, The Swarovski Swimwear Collection, Arcielago Bridal Couture, and Hidalgo Jewelry. HIDALGO & Co., was founded by Ramona R. Hidalgo in 1951. In 2005 Hidalgo Jewelry was added to the label. In 2010 Arcielago was founded by Ramona R. Hidalgo's grandchild Miguelangel Argelio Hidalgo, making it the fashion branch of the label. Miguelangel Argelio Hidalgo is a graduated from Parson's The New School of Design earning his degree in Fashion Design, and from The University of Texas at El Paso with a degree in BioChemistry. There are several lines which make up The House Of Hidalgo. They are: Arcielago Couture, The Arcielago Swarovski Swimwear Collection, Arcielago Onion Booty Jeans by VJA, Arcielago Bridal, Arcielago Costume Design, & Hidalgo Jewelery Arcielago Couture & Swarovski Swimwear Collection, which contains high-end, often handmade apparel & swimwear, is the house's main line. Traditionally, this is the only line presented on the runway which is shown during fashion week, but this has not been strictly the case in recent months. Couture dresses in this line may cost about $3,000 and Swimwear cost approximately $150.00-$350.00 Miguelangel Argelio Hidalgo directly heads this line and designs a vast amount of the items. Since Arcielago acts as a private fashion and costume designer, it has many fans among well-known celebrities: such as Carrie Underwood, Britney Spears, Jaslene Gonzales, Jennifer Pena, The Kardashians, and recently added to the list Tyra Banks. The Arcielago Swarovski Swimwear Collection is carried at DASH Boutique Miami. Argelio is currently part of America's Next Top Model & Wicked The Musical's Costume Design Team. Headquarters for the label are based out of Austin Texas. Concept: Arcielago was founded in order to find artists who were passionate about their work. Each swimsuit is handcrafted and made to perfection, each containing crystals throughout the suit. The Hidalgo Bra Arcielago offers The Hidalgo Bra in many shapes and sizes. No matter the design, each bra comes with Swarovski Crystals and beading. Onion Booty Jeans by VJArcielago: Arciealgo is stepping it up with a new line of denim. All the jeans are carefully handmade. Denim can either be randomly selected, or made specially to fit you and your body type. Custom made denim will be more expensive.
