5ft Productions is owned by Actress/ Host/ Writer Melissa Grimmond. Melissa started as an actress in feature films, TV, commercials, and hosting. With her education in Language and Literature, Fashion Arts, and Marketing Management, Melissa has gone to the next level and opened her own Production Company. With her unique background and petite frame of being 5ft tall...thus the name 5ft Productions was created. 5ft Productions will focus on the writing of films, comedy and monologues.
Writer, Melissa Grimmond completed writing her 1st 15min short film entitled 'Pray for Me". This sarcastic comedy is about a woman named Blair who like many of us today are dealing with life changes and then battle with faith. As life would have it, she learns that everything was right in front of her. She was simply distracted with other things to truly see it. Blair is an accomplished woman that says things aloud that most people are maybe just thinking. This gives the screen play the great comedic relief.
