The old adage "one man's junk is another man's treasure" can be applied to scrap. Contractors remodel homes, plumbers replace fixtures, electricians wire homes and businesses, landowners have unwanted machinery. The list could go on forever. Scrap can be discarded in a number of ways. The must popular are to "do nothing," or use a landfill.
