In today’s world we somehow lose contact with our friends and family. Unfortunately, this is the way it is. So much to do, so little time, always going, never stopping to take the time to “smell the roses”. We lose touch with those around us. We are too busy to call, visit, write a note. We take the easy way out, and that being, writing email. I myself, am to blame, but I try my hardest to avoid sending notes to family. I try to call frequently or to send handwritten notes. That personal touch has disappeared and that is taking the time…………to be more personable…….to have that contact with those around us. It is such a great feeling to receive a handwritten note or letter in your mailbox, perhaps enclosing a photo of a relative, a picture of a new grandchild, or of someone or something else that is of real interest. We take it for granted…..our family and our friends. Let’s try calling more or writing more…..it’s more of an effort on our part, but oh so rewarding.
