Your wedding and reception should be one of the most memorable days of your life. Selecting the wrong disc jockey could ruin it. When talking to a disc jockey about your wedding, be sure to ask specific questions:
- What do the DJ specifically provide for the cost?
- Does the disc jockey know the area of the wedding/reception?
- How long can the DJ stay, and could he or she stay later if asked?
- What type and eras of music does he or she have available right now?
- Does the DJ have the specific song and artist you want for your special selections?
- Is the music played via computer or hard discs, and is a backup system provided?
- What is the cost (all inclusive or hourly)?
- How much is needed for a down payment, and what types of payment are accepted?
- Will there be a refund if the wedding is canceled (due to weather, for example) or moved?
- Are there any special requirements needed by the DJ?
And last, but certainly not least, do not hesitate to ask for references. Any good DJ, service or company should be happy and able to comply without question. Good Luck in your search, and may you have the best possible day and life together!
