How to be encouraged and how to encourage others? I have tried many way to become motivated and encouraged in my 48 years of life.
I have found that my faith in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit have been the only lasting way that has really helped me way above all other ways I tried. There have been a number of significant people that have helped to encourage me, and now I want to be used to Encourage others in the same way.
I believe that becoming a new person because of my faith is a great testimony and to be able to help & share it daily with others in any way we can is very important too.
A verse in the Bible comes to my mind when I think of what God has done for me, "The God of all comfort who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." (2 Corinthians 1:3). This has been been an inspiration to me in my life and has been a Real Encouragement to me to want to help others.
