Motocross is really family fun!

Motocross racing is family bonding! Enjoy the excitement!

Let me set the motocross experience for you. You start with a family that is looking for some good fun! Now you take the little ones, or even big ones, and go check out a motocross race. This can be a local event, or you can even kick it up a notch and check out a Pro-National Race.

After this you will have first-hand experience with the fun and excitement that I'm talking about! The kids will be begging you to get out and try it. It's not too much effort to put a little time into your family's investment. The family investment that I'm talking about will be building a great bond and friendship that is hard to find anywhere else. This investment will grow and get so strong that there is no price that can be put on it!

Ok, now you may need to get a bike and some gear; start small and cheap to make sure that this is what everyone wants. Get online and find some local tracks, do a few weekends and you'll be hooked. Amateur motocross racing is for all ages and abilities. If your kids are 5 yrs old or 20, you can find a safe and competitive class for them to race in. And maybe it's not the kids that we're talking about here - it could be you who would like to try your talents against others. Well, believe me there are classes for you too.

I could get way more involved in describing ages and classes in this article, but for now I just want to paint the picture and get you interested! So let's imagine you have your bikes and gear, and you've even picked out a track that looks like it would be so cool to race at. Well, whats next? This is where the fun begins to build. You pack all your stuff, get up good and early (remember this is all as a family) and travel to your track. Now you need to find that really cool pit spot. This is where you will unload all your bikes and gear and prepare for the race.

Be prepared to make new friends there without even trying! Your pit neighbors will be helpfull and informative. They are also a part of the motocross bonding experience. They will point you into the right direction for sign-ups, and be very helpful with other race information that you may need help with. A few sign-up forms later and it's time to get back to the pits to get dressed. If everyone's heart is not really beating faster now then they will be soon!

You're getting excited now, and we've only just brushed the surface of what is to come. This is where the motocross experience really begins. You're making friends in the pit, having campfires and sleep-over weekends, cooking and sharing the fun times of each day. Don't just send your kids in to watch TV while you go off to play golf with your buddies. These kids can be and should be your buddies! Remember that family investment? I have bonded so much with my family doing this that it truly is both a complete enjoyment and the fulfillment of a dream.

I could go on about this forever, but I'll leave the next level of Motocross is Family Fun for later. In the meantime, why not give it a try and bond with your kids! So get out of your lazy chair, get out and in touch with what will be a truly fun-filled time! Enjoy the excitement!
