During this age of computers, cell phones, BlackBerrys, we somehow lose that special contact with the people that mean the most to us; our family and friends. We forget about the simple pleasures of just listening to music, reading a good book, listening to the birds sing or just simply writing a letter or a note to someone to show we care. No matter what occasion, i.e. birthday, wedding, anniversary, a new baby or to say "I love you", or "wish you were here" it's always a good time to send a handwritten note. Perhaps there is the unfortunate moment when you need to send a note of condolence. How many times have you been tempted just to send an email. Not only does a written card or letter show you care, it also shows you cared enough to take the time for that family member or friend. It shows you are not easily swayed by the technical things in life and other distractions that take away from being personable.
There are so many things in our life now to distract us from writing a handwritten note or card. Would love to hear from you, but please don't forget to write that special someone a "real" note or letter today.
