Because our Streets are no longer SAFE.

In the past 20+ years I have seen far too many crimes against people that could have been prevented if these people had a way to protect themselves.

I have been in the Security industry for over 20 years, and have done security for hospitals, hotels, sports events and concerts.  In my experience I prefer the non-lethal way of protection that includes Stun Guns and Stun Batons.  Stun Guns/Stun Batons are effective because of the low amperage shock they give.  People usually think it is the high voltage of stun gun that stops an attacker.  Not true.  Voltage doesn't hurt anyone...it's amperage.  One amp will kill someone.  Stun guns/Stun Batons only have between 5-8 milliamps.  Just enough to incapacitate an attacker without doing any permanent damage.

They are Non-Lethal.  The stun gun does not rely on pain for results.  The energy stored in the gun is dumped into the attacker’s muscles causing them to do a great deal of work rapidly.  This rapid work cycle instantly depletes the attacker’s blood sugar by converting it to lactic acid.  In short, he/she is unable to produce energy for his/her muscles, and their body is unable to function properly.

The stun gun also interrupts the tiny neurological impulses that control and direct voluntary muscle movement.  When the attacker’s neuromuscular system is overwhelmed and controlled by the stun gun he/she loses there balance.

Just test firing a Stun Gun/Stun Baton into the air is often enough to stop an attacker.  As the bright electric current pulsates between the test prongs and creates an intimidating electrical sound an attacker with any sense at all will be stopped in his/her tracks.

If the sight and sound doesn't stop them a jolt from a Stun Gun/Stun Baton certainly will.  Simply touching an attacker for three to five seconds will deliver a high voltage shock causing loss of balance and muscle control, confusion, and disorientation bringing him/her to their knees and making him/her incapable of further aggressive activity giving you time to get away to safety  Full recovery takes about five to ten minutes and there is no permanent harm.

You shouldn't worry about being shocked should the attacker be touching you.  Won't happen!  The current will not pass to you.
