Kinda started out as a child, my father had gone to a yard sale and came home with a pair of Japanese tin litho trains and had given one to me and one to my brother. Loved playing with them as kids and my brother had soon out grown his after managing to lose some of the pieces. Years had passed and they soon became forgotten in the attic of our home. 25 years later, my mother called me up and found a couple of toys in the attic and asked me if I wanted them..my brother had no interest anymore so I said "Yes". Turns out they are the trains that were forgotten in our youth. They were the "Bell Clanger #3850 train" which was my brothers and missing the engineer and light cover and the "Silver Mountain # 4230 train" which is in excellent condition. Both trains are functional still. Kinda rekindled my liking in the early toys. I am now collecting tin litho, pressed steel and die cast toys from the 1920's to the 1950's. I am now reliving my youth by collecting and restoring Wyandotte, Marx, Banner, Hubleys, Metal Masters, and Republic toys.
