The most stereo typed image in the world are "Angels". Long haired or short, in the church pamphlets, stories and photo images they never are fat, always are beautiful, and increasingly the press makes them sexual.
ANGELS THAT TEST OUR COMPASSION
They come in all forms and shapes, and in my opinion they come to see more what we will do for them, then what they will do for us. Gods little testers may come in the form of an abused animal, a child lost in a store, a person with a flat tire on the side of the road, or an old tree that watches over us.
ANGELS LIVE WITHIN US, TAKING FORM IN LIFE CHAPTERS
There are many accounts about people attacked, who are saved by nameless individuals who stand between them and the moment of danger. It is easy to doubt these stories, until we have proof from bystanders who also have seen these rescues. Suddenly a door opens and we believe miracles can happen..
Many stories are also told about people lost in the wilderness, mortally wounded, who are rescued by a lost animal. Often, these creatures disappear as suddenly as they come to save the day.
IT IS MY BELIEF WHEN WE HELP OTHERS, WE ACCESS ANGEL RESCUES IN OUR OWN DIRE TIMES OF NEED.
So next time you see a lost child in a store, help them. When you see an abandoned or abused animal, stop to take the time to rescue. In the long run, your ability to be saved by Angels may really be all about what you do for the seemingly every day instances that need your rescue. Your reward will be a rescue for you when you most need it.
