Accent Walls

by mary brady of Placelift (14-Sep-2009)

Many people today are looking to add some "pop" to a room with an accent wall. While this can be a great idea, the wall and the color of it, should be considered carefully. With fire engine red that "pop out" can quickly become a "knock out" making everything else in the room disappear! The wall to choose should always be the focal point of the room not a wall behind you when you walk in. Consider what will be on the accent wall. Bold or very dark colors tend to look best with large items accenting it

Remember each room is a piece of art. Good art has a focal point and interest but still works well with it's surroundings. So go ahead and create that "pop" and have fun!
