I give this place a big, big thumbs up...having grown up in Phoenix, I'd never been at a loss for Mexican food until I moved to the reservation. Craving mexican food, I've tried all the restaurants that were recommended to me, and found all of them wanting. Garcias was the exception. What the old converted 50's style "car hop" location lacks in ambiance, is more than made up for in service. I found the food to be quite good, and the service was pretty much the best I've ever had anywhere. Carlos, the manager (not "betty", not "bob", but CARLOS) was kind and attentive. He made "juevos rancheros" for me at 8PM at night even though the menu stated that breakfast dishes were not served after 11am. And the meal was delicious. My dining partner ordered beef fajitas, and reported that they were very good as well. In any case, I highly recommend this place. Its not the most attractive place in the world, but the food and the service are very good.
